With Foil Worx business cards at Catdi Printing, you can add a stunning metallic foil accent to your cards. Here is what you need to know:
Each Foil Worx order uses one type of foil — for example, you can choose Gold or Silver, but you cannot mix Gold on the front and Silver on the back within the same order.
To set up your files, you will need to provide a separate foil mask file in addition to your regular print file. The mask file works just like a Spot UV mask: use solid 100% black (K only, no other colors) in the areas where you want foil applied, and white everywhere else.
If you are combining Foil Worx with Spot UV on the same card, you will need to provide separate mask files for each. For the sharpest results, we recommend creating your mask files in a vector-based program like Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW.
