What is the difference between Spot UV and Raised Spot UV on business

Both Spot UV and Raised Spot UV add a glossy accent to specific areas of your business card, but they differ in texture. Spot UV applies a flat, shiny coating to the areas you specify. It creates a visual contrast — matte background with high-gloss highlights — but the surface remains smooth to the touch. Raised Spot UV uses the same glossy coating, but it is applied at a thickness of approximately 50 microns so it physically stands up from the card surface. When you run your finger across the card, you can feel the raised UV areas. This adds a tactile dimension that makes logos, text, or design elements literally pop off the card. Both options require a mask file that shows where the UV should be applied. Raised Spot UV is especially popular for logos and brand marks where you want that extra sensory impact.
