Why does my Illustrator file get rejected for incorrect bleed even
This is a common issue. Your artwork itself may have the correct bleed, but when you save as PDF, the file only outputs the size set in your Document Setup — not the extended bleed area.
To fix this, your artboard (Document Setup) must include the bleed in addition to your finished size. For example, if you order a 24 by 18 inch Coroplast sign, both your artwork with bleed and your document setup should be 25 by 19 inches.
This ensures the bleed is always included when the PDF is generated.
