For a standard 2-step H-stake, one is typically sufficient for signs 24 by 18 inches and smaller. For signs larger than 24 by 18 inches, we recommend using 2 separate H-stakes for better stability. Our H-stakes use 9-gauge wire. H-stakes work best on soft ground such as dirt, soil, and grass. Make sure your Coroplast order has vertical flutes when using H-stakes.
